A long time ago, I was showing my portfolio to a small, New York City design firm. The owner, an expat from the U.K., had honed his British accent to instill a sense of importance in everything he said. Back then, I had an impressive number of clients in the resource and transportation fields. He scanned my work and snidely opined that it was fitting for a Canadian to be taking pictures of hewers of wood and drawers of water.

Through the years I've received my fair share of criticism, but also enjoyed uncommon photographic adventures. Please browse the galleries and feel free to find fault. Others have!
